Located in Red Oak, Texas, Moss Utilities has undertaken one of our most extensive projects to date, installing the infrastructure for Compass Datacenters, one of the nation's fastest-growing data center companies. This expansion aims to cater to the third-largest data center market in the United States. The project is essential for providing integral cloud services and hyperscale data, and it all begins from the ground up.
Our work on this project is divided into two phases, encompassing the development of infrastructure for ten separate buildings. Despite encountering challenges with the less-than-ideal land characterized by a high density of rocks, our experienced and dedicated teams, under the leadership of Project Manager Ruben Aguilar and Superintendent Jose Orozco, have managed to stay ahead of schedule and beat deadlines. The scope of our work included the installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
In total, Moss Utilities successfully installed 46,035 linear feet of water infrastructure, 20,000 linear feet of sewer infrastructure, and 36,961 linear feet of storm drainage. The remarkable leadership of Project Manager Ruben Aguilar and Superintendent Jose Orozco has played a crucial role in the project's success. We anticipate the completion of this significant endeavor by May 2025.
